crunchy vanilla walnuts

                                                                        Recipe

1/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground allspice
1/8 tsp pepper
4 cups of walnut halfs
2 tbsp canola oil
1 tsp vanilla extract

1). in a small bowl, combine the first seven ingredients set aside in large bowl, combine the walnuts, oil and vanilla. Add sugar mixture toss to coat.

2) Transfer to a 15 in.x 10-in. foil-lined baking pan cooking spray. Bake at 325
for 35 minutes stirring occasionally. Cool completely.Store in a airtight container.

veggie pinwheels recipe

1 package 8oz reduced-fat cream cheese
2 tbsp vidalia onion salad dressing
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh broccoli
1/4 cup grated carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
1/2 tsp dill weed
4 whole wheat tortillas 


  1.  in a small bowl, beat cream cheese and salad dressing until blended. stir in the broccoli, carrot, onion and dill weed. 
  2. Spread over tortillas. 
  3. Roll up tightly wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. 
  4. Unwrap and cut each into eight slices

apple cranberry bread

this bread can be made in almost any baking dish that will fit my favorite is a small loaf pan 8 by 4 inches/20 by 10cm but you can even use a slow cooker yes a slow cooker

                                                                Recipe
1 cup all purpose flour unbleached if possible
1 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup milled flaxseeds
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
3/4 cup demerara or evaporated cane juice sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 egg
2 tbsp finely grated orange zest from 2 oranges
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup finely chopped peeled cored apple
1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries


1) in a bowl or on a sheet of wax paper combine the all purpose flour the whole wheat flour flaxseeds baking powder salt and cinnamon

2) In a seprate bowl beat sugar  oil egg orange zest and juice and vanilla until thoroughly blended add dry ingredients stiring just until blended fold in apple and cranberries.

3) Spoon batter into prepared pan cover tightly with foil and secure with string place in small loaf pan or slow cooker and poor in enough boiling water to come 1 inch up the sides of the dish if in slow cooker cover and cook on high for 4 hours in oven bake till golden brown cool and serve

5 year aniversarry dinner with my partner

yesterday was my five year aniversarry with my partner who i love with all my heart we had a stay at home aniversarry with the family and our new baby i made steak and shrimp lobster and garlic bread yum had a nice night nice and relaxing im a lucky women

Pita pit is the best they offer delisous healthy options full of flavour the place is fun and colorful and the staff and owner are very kind they treat every customer like a friend i love that everything is fresh and natural and if your vegatarien they offer 5 different vegatarian pitas i personally love the gyro's and chicken pitas i could go forever about how good this place but to understand what i mean you would have to try it
